Ms. Mary

Hi, my name is Mary Smith. I am a native Nevadan; I am a Pre-K teacher in the Wildflowers classroom here at Pinion Early Learning Center. I have a degree in ECE, graduated from the Nevada Apprenticeship Program, and was a mentor for 2 years. I have taught ages 3 to 5 in the Reno area for 40 years. I enjoy working alongside children to foster their creativity and love of learning. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren. We enjoy taking our grandkids on trips to parks where we can enjoy what nature has to offer. We want our grandchildren to understand and respect our planet. I am so excited to be a part of this amazing Pinion family, and I look forward to creating a fun, play-based environment to help your children learn and grow.

What do our families say about us?!

Great preschool! We love the outdoors area for our son. All the teachers are wonderful!

-Claire

I am so happy I made the switch to Pinion. My 3 year old daughter actually loves going to school now. The facility is so beautiful and clean, the teachers/staff are so friendly and welcoming and it truly does feel like a home away from home for my kiddo. They are so creative with activities throughout the day, and I feel my child is learning so much more than I can teach her on a daily basis. Christine and Katie have something very special going! If I could give them 10 stars I would!! - Jolee

My kiddo is thriving and mama is at peace knowing he is at a wonderful school. Thank you for facilitating a dream environment, an exceptional educational experience and a nurturing staff - Michelle
