Katie is a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and owner of Pronounced
Progress Speech Therapy, dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based services to the pediatric population. With a master’s in Speech Language Pathology from Midwestern University and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Katie brings a wealth of expertise and insight to her practice.
Driven by her devotion to supporting children's communication development, Katie is deeply committed to serving preschool-aged children to improve language, articulation, fluency and social communication skills. With experience as an elementary school based SLP, she has worked with children with a range of diagnoses and understands the unique needs of young learners. Additionally, she recognizes the crucial role that early language skills play in academic success and is dedicated to helping children build a strong foundation for learning.
Katie's therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, with a focus on
neurodiversity affirming, strength-based, child-led therapy techniques. She believes in utilizing each child's individual strengths and interests to create engaging and effective interventions that promote communication, growth and confidence. As Katie joins the team at Pinion Early Education Center, she is excited to collaborate with families, educators and interdisciplinary professionals to provide holistic support in helping children achieve their full potential while fostering a lifelong love of learning.
